FAQ
What are the names next to each symbol?
They are the official Unicode character names (for example ★ is “Black Star”, U+2605). Searching works with these names, so try words like star, heart, arrow, circled, check or music.
What does U+2605 mean?
It is the symbol’s code point in the Unicode standard. Every device that supports Unicode draws the same character for the same code point, though the look depends on the font.
How do I type a symbol without copying?
On Windows, many symbols can be entered with the emoji panel (Win + .). On macOS, use the Character Viewer (Ctrl + Cmd + Space). On phones, copying from a page like this one is usually the fastest way.
Why does a symbol look different on my phone?
Fonts draw each character in their own style, and some symbols have an emoji version in color. If a symbol shows as a box, the current font does not include it.
Is Symbols123 affiliated with any app or game?
No. It is an independent symbol reference and text styling tool. It offers no accounts or game services and never asks you to log in.
